What they call "Sabun Ketiak"

I was laughing when I saw that term. So, my first entry for this few days old blog is about a beauty bar called Marine Essence Beauty Bar, a product marketed by Hai-O Marketing Sdn Bhd. I'm sure many would know this company as it has retail outlets all over Malaysia mostly at AEON's premises (if I'm not mistaken). This product is not sold in its retail outlets but through its Multi-level Marketing company mentioned earlier.  Well, I'm not here to promote the company but the most talked about beauty bar.

How did I stumbled upon this product. A senior of mine published a photo of her fore finger (during the election) how clean her finger was after using this bar. So, that's where I get to know about the "Sabun Ketiak". Reading through the comments. My interest towards this beauty bar grew.

I have sensitive skin, I can't wear jeweleries, watches etc. Be it silver, gold, stainless steel or leather. My neck, wrist and ears would itch like they are having a party for the last time. I would automatically scratch. You see my skin is like an UFO (Unwelcoming Flying/Floating/Foreign Object) detector. They land, then my skin would send me deceitful messages so that I would scratch like there's no tomorrow and left me to suffer the consequences tomorrow. Yes, I scratch till the skin broke and sometimes bled. Yes, with my long nails.

*additional info: sometimes my skin has a problem with sweat.

So the kind of consequences I had to bear with are when these places I scratched decided to change into darker clothes. They turn dark.
Parts of the body that had suffered from my nails and scratches starting from head to toe.

1. Neck (necklaces, scarves. SCARVES?? Yes, scarves, UFOs)
2. Armpits (poor ventilation, deodorants, UFOs)
3. Butt crack (poor ventilation from sanitary pads, the fact that I have big butt)
4. Bikini line (poor ventilation, from triangular shaped panties)
5. Inner thighs (big thighs mean no gap between my legs so it's poor ventilation)
6. Back of my thighs (same reason as No. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7, UFOs)
7. Behind my knee and my calves (same reason as No. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, UFOs)
8. Around the nose bridge, and my temple.
9. My wrist and fingers are all good because I haven't been wearing watches, bracelets and rings for many years.

I guess I saved a lot of money then and any man who marries me will be the happiest man in the world because of this jewellery intolerant problem of mine. Well..more money saved.

So, this bar can help lighten uneven tone, and is possible to be a solution to my problem. If it can help those with eczema, why not this little problem of mine right? So, I decided to purchase it.
  

Unfortunately, I was told that this beauty bar is discontinued. Oh...foot it! Then, ...2 good news coming in. The company launched two new products of the same line. Marine Essence Nourishing Body Wash and Marine Essence Nourishing Shampoo.

So, I was told that the body wash has the same concentration as the beauty bar and it's in liquid form which means...easier for storage.
So, I bought both.


Today will be my 3rd day of using these two products but I'm more interested to know the result of the body wash. I think that will take weeks or months. Will update on the progress. Would it be too gross if I post the images of my abused armpits here?

I want to have an even skin tone for people to admire. Not for a graphic designer to refer at for colour shades. - whose? Tinky Tinkies 2013

Ps: I've tried a few other products that work well for me. Will share in the next entry. Plus images. I did a testimonial for her so I have my progress noted. It's the first Malaysian made anti-stretchmark product. Approved by KKM.
