Was it me or the slimming products?

I have weight issue since 2005 and have been growing sideways. Fond of looking pretty in beautiful dresses, I had to lose weight but it seemed impossible due to busy schedule. I know it's defined as lack of discipline because I eat what I want and when I want. Plus, I don't really exercise during those years.

This weight issue started when I furthered my tertiary education. Away from home means no home cooked meals. Since, I'm not a great cook and hostel's rule says no cooking
So, it means outside food aka 'aji',  instant food or fast food for every meal. When finance was running low, buns and bread is often the only alternative to keep my tummy full.

So, let's go straight to the point now, shall we? Otherwise,  I would go non stop yapping about my life as a student.

All these years, I've tried many different types of products, even went to slimming centers, join the gym with personal trainers hoping to lose fat instead of building muscles.

I exercised regularly during school years and able to maintain my weight.  Somehow, doing it last year seemed to backfire and I end up 3kgs heavier. So, it was pretty 'amazing', wasn't it? So £ I stopped exercising or even do the belly dance. Anyways,  I would LOVE to list every product I've tried but does nothing to help my body type, but decided not to because I'm currently selling the product I'm consuming at the moment, which means...it's really unethical.  Just because those options did not work for me does not mean they don't work on others.

Due to all the disappointment,  I vow (yet again) not do these anymore.  I stopped drinking carbonated drinks, mo juice or whatsoever. Only plain water. Hmm..able to maintain my weight of 75kgs. Not going up or down.

One day, I saw this senior's wife of mine shared an album in FB. So, as curious as always. I asked her about the particular product and she explained and guaranteed that I'll lose weight...so..what the heck...it's RM180 per bottle with 60 capsules. Some might find it expensive but anyone ever bought a box of 20 sachets of powdered stuff that is supposed to make one lose weight at the price of  RM250? Well, I did and I bought 4 but not 1 gram lost. So, basically,  Au Li Jing Slimming Capsules would be my last purchase of any kind of slimming product. If it doesn't work then, that's it. And it did. I lost more than 10kgs and now at 58kgs.

Before this, I've tried numerous of products and get myself injected with I don't know what the hell the substance was (meant to burn fat). I had sores and bruises around my waist and hip  but never help one bit. Those products helped others,  why don't they work on me?? I was so sad and upset. I felt hopeless. I started to think that the advertisements are just too good to be true. With *results vary on individuals*,  they can just say it's not their problem but my body was not being cooperative. A very convenient way to get away from responsibility. Anyways, now I know it's neither's problem. It's a matter of suitability.

It's like a dream come true to have lost 17kgs in 8 months. Some of you may think, " That's a very long time" But, I feel safe knowing it took those months to lose my weight than losing 12kgs in how many days as advertised in FB recently.  What's in that product anyway? Don't you find it suspicious? ?  I really hope it was a advertisement gimmick. Or...there's something really powerful about that product. (0.o)?

Now, that I finally found the one. I dont think I'll have to worry about my back pain and knee pain anymore. XD Cheers to that!

The first anti-stretchmark product in Malaysia.

What do I mean first anti-stretchmark product in Malaysia? Obviously, there are tons of anti-stretchmark products in Malaysia. Well, of course there are. I used them.

If you read my previous entry, you'll know that I'm referring to the first Malaysian made anti-stretchmark product. Oh...you know, created by Malaysians, tested in Malaysia, made in Malaysia?
It happens that the creator of these wonderful or should I say miracle products is a former colleague of my sister. She promoted it to my sister and I happened to be there as well. It wasn't really well known because her company is only set up in 2011. So, it's definitely new.

I happened to be a person who's not really interested or confident in local made skin care products especially when it's claiming to be the best or the first in the country. Not that I never tried any locally made things. When it comes to the skin, I only trust bigger brands where I'd seen their advertisements popping up everywhere. Things like these show that the company behind brand has that money power to do all kinds of clinical research etc.

I know it isn't fair especially when a new brand is trying to rise and made itself known in this industry. I mean which product isn't?

Anyways,  I didn't buy anything that day but I bought a set the following week in the month of February 2013 before Chinese New Year.
Reasons I bought them are;
1. The "big brand" doesn't work. My scars look exactly the same the day I bought them and not to mention repurchases I made.
Sometimes,  I would get 2 bottles in a single receipt from the pharmacy. And it's not cheap. Xxxml cost 80plus ringers.
I had that scar in 2011. So, you can bloody well imagine my disappointment when it looks the same after the money I had mindlessly showered on "big brand".

2.  a) It's her way of showing how much confidence and pride she has for her products.
b) Her frustration when a customer isn't using the product consistently and those who have good results but are unwilling to do testimonials.

I do understand how important it is for a product to have a good testimony by its user. Without it, it would mean all talk no prove. So, she did make a deep impression.

I promised Kak Zai my testimonials.  And she can use them whenever, wherever,  however she wants.

I'll just skip the progress and fast forward before and after picture. The image below clearly shows the difference,  isn't it?
